Ethiopian Icons and Crosses

The 1973 Exhibition catalogue "Religious Art of Ethiopia" gives a most comprehensive written and pictorial description of the painted Icons, crosses of all types and Religious artifacts dating back to the 12th.century, and also includes a very interesting chapter on the technical make-up of the Icons. We also have a selection of the large Processional Crosses, some hand crosses and a vast collection of Coptic neck crosses purchased nearly 40 years ago.
