 | We have just been informed that following the success of the Russian items in the last Hampstead auctions they have received some good collections of silver, enamel and some Faberge pieces for their May 15th.sale.(the catalogue has just come on-line). The next "big" sales will be Sothebys,Christies and Bonhams in June plus a massive medal sale at Morton and Eden and of course the Icon sale at Christies which might be the biggest ever known. Now that the property market is stagnant here and in the USA , all spare cash is flowing into the Art market and the Russians will not be outbid by the Western market
